STUDENT MASSAGE THERAPISTS for the 2024 Season

KIARA BELANGER (SHE/HER)

Kiara is currently a student attending her second and final year at Evolve college of massage therapy. Kiara's empathetic nature led her to massage therapy and inspires her to help others achieve their own personal health and wellness goals. Through her studies, Kiara has learned that the mind-body connection is very powerful and can do incredible things when working in harmony and that when balance is restored to one, it can support the other.

Kiara is training in Swedish massage which takes on a more relaxation approach, incorporating deep tissue and myofascial techniques, restoring balance to the body tissues. Her goal is to empower and educate her clients so that they can leave each session feeling physically and mentally relieved.

Kiara is available at the Corydon location every other Saturday.

BETHANY BRAUN (SHE/HER)

Bethany is a second year student at Evolve College of Massage Therapy who is excited to provide both relaxation and therapeutic treatments. She loves to incorporate structural work, trigger point release, and movement into her treatments. She also enjoys working with athletes and providing pre or post event sports massage.

Outside of massage she loves to spend time with her husband, listen to podcasts, sing, and explore the outdoors.

Bethany is available at the Corydon location on Friday afternoons/evenings.

LINDSAY FOLMES (SHE/HER)

Lindsay is in her final stretch of school at Evolve College of Massage Therapy. She started on this adventure to help others with their physical and mental health. As she progresses through her courses Lindsay has taken a particular interest in working with pregnant and expectant moms, helping them through their pregnancy journey. Lindsay has learned to incorporate structural therapy, trigger point therapy, myofasical therapy and relaxation massage techniques into her treatments. Lindsay will be working along side Stephanie Maxwell RMT, CYT to see pregnant clients under her guidance and mentorship.

When Lindsay isn't in school, she can be found with her husband and kids riding dirt bikes and camping.

Lindsay is available at the Corydon location on Wednesday mornings for the month of May 2024.

IKU NITTA (SHE/HER)

Iku (E-ku) is a senior student at Evolve College of Massage Therapy. Before moving to Canada from Japan, Iku trained in Shiatsu massage (acupressure points therapy), Reflexology, Ashiatsu (barefoot massage) and Gua-Sha facial massage. Massage has been her passion since her childhood learning Shiatsu from her parents. Iku has been practising body work and Reflexology since 2015.

Iku is thrilled to be expanding her knowledge and skills at Evolve College by learning Swedish massage, Myofascial release, Functional Release Techniques and Orthopaedic assessment, integrating all of her experience, knowledge and passion into a well rounded practice. Iku is interested in continuing education after graduation to include cupping and other modalities. Iku loves to listen to what the body is telling through her hands and heart, and being a part of client’s health care journey is her greatest joy.

In her free time, Iku loves being in nature, walking, hiking, dancing, Zumba and skiing.

Iku is available at the Corydon location on Tuesday afternoons/evenings as well as Friday afternoons.
